Ouch a basketball!

My brother dave brought a basketball ring for the garden and a new basketball too.
So we started a match, I scored some nice baskets but then tom passed one to me too quickly and crack!!
ouch!! the heavy ball had snapped my thumb. I didn't feel the pain at first but then it was like total agony, I had to stop playing.
I had to go to the hospital casulty accident and emergency, I saw two doctors then went for an x-ray! which was cool! The radiographer is my mums friend Angie and she was really nice to me and said I was very brave.
My thumb was broken, stupid basketball. Another nurse then gave my mum a special splint that I have to wear now, to protect my thumb and help it heal.
But I think I will stick to football now, basketball isn't my game!

Bastets

Bastets are the Egyptian cats. They were placed in tombs to guard the sacred Pharoah. Cats were the sacred animals and were belived to be a god. If anyone was to be disrespetful and take advantage of them lets just say the punishment , would not be nice!

George, our new pet cat

We got a new pet cat..George!! He is shiny black and so soft and cute. He likes to be cheeky and chase bits of paper and go upstairs. He loves just laying in my Dad's chair and sleeping. His eyes are bright and greeny yellow and he likes to stretch all the time. It was funny when he scratched my brother David on his hand and Dave jumped!

My brother Alan also adopted a cat, Ellie and she is really soft and lovely too. When I took George to see her they played in the kitchen, it was funny when George was breakdancing on the floor and Ellie looked away ashamed.
Alan wanted to call Ellie, Mrs Tabitha but she was already called Ellie, I wanted him to call her Isis. I love the name George, he looks like a George. Tom calls him Boy George and plays football with him in the living room, mum tells them off!

George has lots of toys and a scratching post to sharpen his claws. I love to stroke him before I go to bed.
The Egyptians loved cats too, sometimes when George is laying down I think he looks like a cool sphinx.

The invocation of Isis!

Great Holy Isis,
Mother of all the gods,
I call to Thee.
Thy name is sweet upon my lips.
Lady of the Green Wings
And of the Crescent Moon.
Mistress of the Sea.
Queen of the Earth.
I call to Thee.
Thy beauty engulfs my soul.
Mistress of the Elements
And of All Things Forever.
Eye of Ra.
Embracer of the Land.
Come to me, Isis.
Join me in Your Holy Temple
